- Increase understanding of minority stress framework working with racially, ethnically, sexually, and gender diverse communities
- Recognize self of therapist, social location, and impact of working with BIPOC LGBTQ+ clients
- Clinically apply integrated framework of systems, intersectionality, and minority stress with BIPOC LGBTQ+ clients
How it works
Course Summary
This course will help participants increase understanding and competency of systems, intersectionality history and framework, and impact on mental health of BIPOC LGBTQ+ communities and increase understanding of minority stress framework working with racially, ethnically, sexually, and gender diverse communities.
Additionally, it covers recognizing self of therapist, social location, and impact of working with BIPOC LGBTQ+ clients and how to clinically apply integrated framework of systems, intersectionality, and minority stress with BIPOC LGBTQ+ clients.
