Course Objectives
- Participants will provide overview of current mental health statistics impacting BIPOC Communities
- Participants will identify the impact of adverse experiences and discrimination on BIPOC anxiety and depression.
- Participants will learn how to assess for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as a diagnostic differential to anxiety disorders
- Participants will name 4 domains of the cultural model of suicide and treatment implications.
- Participants will be able to identify culturally based treatment recommendations for anxiety and depression

Course Summary
In this course participants will identify the impact of adverse experiences and discrimination on BIPOC anxiety and depression. As well as learn how to assess for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as a diagnostic differential to anxiety disorders. Participants will be able to identify culturally based treatment recommendations for anxiety and depression.
Must pass at 80% or above on quiz for CEU credit.
Quiz retakes are available.
