Satisfaction Survey: "Anxiety and Depression in Multicultural Communities"

Course Objectives: Participants will provide overview of current mental health statistics impacting BIPOC Communities. Participants will identify the impact of adverse experiences and discrimination on BIPOC anxiety and depression. Participants will learn how to assess for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as a diagnostic differential to anxiety disorders. Participants will name 4 domains of the cultural model of suicide and treatment implications. Participants will be able to identify culturally based treatment recommendations for anxiety and depression.
